With her debut album dropping on May 14th, rising alt-pop star ELLISE has shared the gripping visuals for latest single Over Breakfast.

The LA-based artist first started her career a short few years ago when she dropped her first single Love Made Me Do It back in 2018. Since that moment, ELLISE has risen to prominence thanks to two acclaimed EPs: 2018’s Can You Keep A Secret? and 2019’s Under My Bed, resulting in the musician garnering over 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. But what really makes ELLISE standout is her talent for crafting avant-garde pop tunes and her ability for penning relatable lyrics. All in all, this new artist is someone you will want to keep an eye on.

So with the pop star’s debut album, CHAOTIC, releasing in mid May, 1883 Magazine is exclusively premiering the music video for her latest release Over Breakfast. It’s the third track to be taken from her forthcoming new LP. The video’s ethereal aesthetic is juxtaposed by its dark and bloody imagery as ELLISE buries a heart in the forest. The track’s serene vocals, delicate acoustic chords and the visual’s avant-garde approach, all combine to make for a beautiful hyper dark-pop experience.
