My last piece of furniture arrived so I’m fully moved into my first apartment now 🙂

What was the last thing you read?

I’ve been on the audiobook train for some time now.. The last book I finished was “Greenlights,” Mathew McConaughey’s autobiography. I just started reading Rick Rubin’s new book “The Creative Act”.

Favourite memory growing up?

Long drives to the lake listening to oldies with my parents. I have these memories saved vividly in my head. The smell of the trees outside with the windows down, the feeling of just waking up from a nap etc!

Where was the last place you traveled to?

For leisure, Las Vegas! I’m grateful that a huge part of being an artist is traveling for shows etc.

What was the last thing that made you laugh?

I sent a pretty indepth voice memo to a random person in my contacts when It really should have been to my best friend.. No one ever replied.. lol.

What’s your night time ritual?

I love my mornings and night time rituals so much. These have become sacred practices for me, and can really affect how I wake up/sleep! Skincare, cup of tea, journal, meditate, lights out!

Who would be on your dream dinner party guest list?

Hmmmm. Oprah, John Lennon, Serena Williams, Ed Sheeran! People from different industries and diverse backgrounds would make the conversation incredible!

Favourite item in your closet?

My black Rombaut sneakers.

Tell us about your latest single “TIMEZONE” – what’s the inspo behind it?

This song was inspired by a series of events. Moving to the west coast, the chaos of  long distance relationships, a FaceTime call with my dad while he was in India and we were juggling time zones, and the studio session where the song was born with new friends I had just met from Norway. “TIMEZONE” is unapologetic, carefree, and makes me wanna drive along the ocean with the windows down!

Where is the best place to listen to “TIMEZONE”?

This song makes you dance, and feel uplifted! I’d say listen in the car, before you’re going out for an eve or at the beach!

In a few short words, describe your music for someone that’s never heard it.

Melodic and vibrant with velvety vocals.

If you were to play a music festival, what would be your dream festival lineup?

Great question. Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone, Daniel Caesar, Dijon.

What was it like collaborating with Bhad Babie?

It was a really cool process. The whole thing was done virtual. Getting to hear her stems and vocal work in the studio was really dope. 🙂

What other bands/musicians inspire you when you’re making music?

Coldplay has been one of my favourite bands for as long as I can remember. I love their versatility and ability to remain authentic as the years go by!

If your music could soundtrack a movie, what movie would it be?

A modern day coming of age film. Not sure it exists at this moment in time.. but hopefully we can manifest my EP actually becoming the soundtrack to a movie soon!

Where do you hope your music career takes you this year and beyond?

To as many cities as possible. I want to connect and share my music with fans on a global scale. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this new music!!

Listen to “TIMEZONE” now.
