The latest in new music from Taylor Swift, Loyle Carner,  Architects, PVRIS, & more on this week’s 1883 playlist.

On rotation this week is the new record from the global pop icon, Taylor Swift. As of yesterday, the artist has just dropped her hotly anticipated new record Midnights. Make sure to check out the album’s slick opening tune, Lavender Haze. Not only were we blessed with a Swift LP, yesterday saw the return of Sheffield rockers Arctic Monkeys. Hello You is easily the most anthemic offering from the release. You can read our review of the LP by clicking here. Ok, yesterday really was an amazing day for music. We also received Loyle Carners emotionally charged new album, hugo. Speed Of Plight is the latest track to be taken from the project and it’s a brilliant study of personal internal conflict. The emerging alt-pop songwriter Kayla Grace has dropped the ballad realign. It’s a deeply personal song to the artist and it focuses on her relationship with her older sister. Expect to see the rising artist’s debut EP at some point in the future.

Elsewhere in the playlist, you can find the sophomore single from East Anglian psychedelic-dance-pop collective, Blood Talk. The group’s new track Lady is an understated gem. Forward-thinking Afghan-Dutch songwriter and producer, Ferdous is back. Make sure to listen to his new single, UI. Award-winning artist Genesis Owusu has marked his return with the energetic and exciting track, Get Inspired. It’s a superb example of the artist’s versatility and how he can traverse a multitude of genres with ease. Manchester rock/punk quartet Witch Fever have unleashed their debut album, Congregation. Our favourite song off the record is the infectious tune, Witch Fever. Catch the band live in London on November 15th at The Victoria. Here’s a burst of ferocious energy for you, all the love in the world is a blistering and infectious heavy rock song from Brighton-based metalcore group, Architects. They released their tenth studio album yesterday entitled the classic symptoms of a broken spirit go take a listen. Finally, PVRIS have returned with the brilliant new track, ANIMAL.
