The Geordie rising star has curated 1883’s latest playlist.
The newcomer stunned audiences with his talent after taking centre stage in Danny Boyle’s apocalyptic return, 28 Years Later, last year. Now the youngster has returned in the Nia DaCosta directed follow-up 28 Years Later Bone Temple. It’s an exhilarating, dark ride from start to finish. Williams continues to impress as Spike alongside exceptional performances from actors Ralph Fiennes and Jack O’Connell.
To celebrate the release of 28 Years Later Bone Temple, Alfie Williams has curated an exclusive playlist of tunes that he’s loving at the moment.

‘Radio Friendly Unit Shifter’ – Nirvana
This song hypes you up so much! The bridge is superb too. I just love everything about this track and in my opinion, In Utero was the best Nirvana album.
‘Only In Dreams’ – Weezer
I listen to this song when I go to sleep, not because of the title though. The baseline is beautiful and the buildup at the five minute mark is just three minutes of peak!
‘Figure.09′ – Linkin Park
Everything about this song is so good. It’s really catchy and the riffs are some of the best I’ve heard. Chester is absolutely amazing as always.
‘Needles’ – System Of A Down
The opening slaps! Also, the part of the song where it calms down with Daron singing is really nice. Serj’s vocals are crazy good on this track.
‘Lounge Act’ – Nirvana
It’s the baseline that makes me love this song so much. Nevermind is a perfect album in my opinion.

‘No Other One’ – Weezer
I can’t understand why people hated the Pinkerton album when it came out. This song is fantastic and relaxing.
‘This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I’m On This Song’ – System Of A Down
I love the heaviness of the opening of this track and also that piano sitting in the background of the rest of the song too.
‘Bleed The Freak’ – Alice in Chains
Layne Staley (RIP) was probably the best alt-rock vocalist of the 90s in my opinion.
‘Good Grief’ – Foo Fighters
I don’t know what I like the most about this song, but I think it’s mainly the riff. It just really feels good y’know!
‘Mr Moustache’ – Nirvana
This is auch a great song. Kurt’s voice on this track in particular is really good, especially in the chorus.
