On rotation this week is the newest tune from one of Dublin’s buzziest bands, milk. I Think I Lost My Number is a wall to wall indie-pop gem. Produced by the band’s lead vocalist Mark McKenna, it’s an ambient and thrilling new song. The group recently performed their debut Electric Picnic festival slot last weekend and the independent band will be announcing more exciting things in the near future. South-London’s Jessica Wilde has dropped the brand new single, Freak Out. It’s a hypnotic and grooving release thanks to the rapper’s slick vocal flow and the alt-hip-hop beat. The artist has already garnered a huge amount of support from various taste makers and Freak Out is lifted from her forthcoming new album project. Uche Yara is an exciting new singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Yara has today revealed her captivating debut single, www she hot. The song itself is a melting-pot of influences, spanning psychedelic rock, tango, R&B, and it boasts the most attention grabbing vocals. Catch Uche Yara playing Pitchfork London on November 11. A firm 1883 favourite now,  singer-songwriter Nell Mescal has shared her fourth release of this year. TEETH is a glorious slice of indie-pop. Every release from Mescal so far has not missed the mark. There’s such a sense of beauty in her honest lyricism and TEETH is no exception to Mescal’s winning streak. Last year, Nell sat down with 1883’s Kelsey Barnes for an in-depth chat, click here to read the interview.
