1883 On Rotation: Niall Horan, Picture This, Reneé Rapp

The latest in new music from Niall Horan, Picture This, Reneé Rapp, Zolita and more in this week’s 1883 On Rotation playlist.

On rotation this week is the sensational Reneé Rapp. Last week she blew us away with her anthemic new single “Snow Angel” and the announcement of her new album with the same name, out  August 18th. “I’ve never been simultaneously so proud and scared of a song in my life,” Reneé stated on social media about her new single, as it’s unlike anything she’s put out so far, and she’s proven to fans that she has taken her songwriting to new heights with this one. If you’re in a dancing mood, from his new album The Show, Niall Horan’s track “Save My Life” is an exultant 80s-inspired confessional complete with jubilant horns and swoon-worthy lyrics. Currently on tour with Bebe Rexha, pop artist Zolita recently released her vulnerable new single “Grave,” a track about choosing to be the bigger person when love really hurts you. She continues to highlight authentic LGBTQ+ stories in ways that are rarely seen in the media.

Irish pop-rockers Picture This are back with a double single release– exuding honesty and emotion, “Ireland” and “Red Lights” are two tracks that should immediately be added to any summer playlist. Ex Taylor Swift backup dancer and current The Eras Tour opening act Owenn released his new single “Darkside Of The Moon” today, an emotional song about missing an ex lover. If we’re lucky, we’ll get a live version when he opens for Swift this weekend in Pittsburgh. Known for her relatable, upbeat bops, Tayler Buono makes a splash with her latest single “Summertime Heat.” This new summer anthem immediately puts listeners in the mood to book the next flight to the nearest tropical resort to jump in the pool with a margarita in hand.

Also an opening act for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, Gracie Abrams released the deluxe version of her album Good Riddance today. The last track on the album, “Two people,” is the most devastating, gut wrenching ballad, but in the most beautiful way. It effortlessly ties up the album into the most perfect ribbon. Platinum-selling R&B artist Kiana Ledé released her new album Grudges today. The sultry track “Where You Go” is an instant standout, a collaboration with the instantly recognizable vocals from Khalid. Actress & pop singer-songwriter Laura Marano recently dropped her latest single “The Valley,” an uptempo dance track that’s sure to get you moving. Lastly, we have a new single from Baby Queen, “Dream Girl.” “When I first started making music, I was like, ‘No one can know that I’m bisexual’,” she said about the meaning of the song. “I just don’t give a fuck anymore.”
