Deer Jade Enters a New Era With I AM YOU

Swiss producer Deer Jade opens a new chapter with I AM YOU, launching her Voyage Infini EP and sharing her vision for music, community, and connection.

Swiss-French artist Deer Jade is wrapping up 2025 with something specialthe launch of her new label I AM YOU and its first release, the Voyage Infini EP. After years of releasing on labels like Innervisions, Diynamic, and Kompakt, and playing festivals and clubs around the world, she’s now stepping into a new role as label owner with a clear vision for what she wants to create.

The two-track Voyage Infini EP features “Jump Up” and “Voyage Infini,” both showcasing her blend of indie dance and melodic house with those cosmic, emotive touches she’s become known for. For Deer Jade it’s about building a community and platform centered around connection and transformation through sound.

It’s been a big year for the producer. She turned 30, released her RUFUS DU SOL “Breathe” remix on Rose Avenue, and dropped a Ninja Tune remix of LP Giobbi’s “So Nice To Be In Love.” Now, with the label launch, she feels like everything has been building to this moment. We sat down with her to talk about starting I AM YOU, her creative process, and what’s next.

Hey Jade, lovely to meet you! Coming towards the end of the year, how do you reflect 2025 was for you, both personally and as an artist?

Delighted to meet you! I feel like 2025 has been a major turning point – This year I’ve turned 30, have launched my label I AM YOU and started doing events, all in the space of a couple of months. It feels like everything until now was a preparation for this big project that I’m birthing now 🙂 I feel so grateful to have the chance to create all that I’ve been dreaming of, bringing to life and sharing with the world this vision!

How much would you say your sound has evolved, and how much did you feel you grew overall?

In someways I feel like I’ve always had those different facets of my style and personality, being expressed by very different kinds of music – from downtempo organic tunes to fast peak time/ big rooms housy techno and everything in between :)) I love to not fit into any boxes, instead being like a chameleon ready to deliver what the crowd desires in the moment. Each crowd, each set always teaches me so much and makes me grow – reflecting my natural evolution :))

What inspired you to launch your new label I AM YOU, and why did now feel like the right moment for it?

The countless hours on the dance floor, in the studio making music, the travels, the encounters, the inwards journeys… basically all of my life’s experiences have led me to this point when it became evident that the best way to share the story of our remembrance, was to create a label and community. That through music and events we can create the space to facilitate healing and transformation, to co create this new earth we came here to bring to life!

Can you talk about the creative process behind the first EP “Voyage Infini” — where do you start on your tracks, and what’s the initial spark of inspiration?

The creative process for Voyage Infini began with silence. I start by listening to my breath, to the room, to whatever frequency wants to come through. The initial spark often comes from a feeling, a memory, or a dream. Sometimes it’s a melody that won’t leave me alone, other times it’s a rhythm that feels like a heartbeat. From there, I build layers. Soundscapes, textures, and beats, until the track feels like a journey. Each piece is a portal, designed to take the listener somewhere they’ve never been.

Your music often blends cosmic, emotional, and dancefloor elements — how do you balance those worlds when producing?

I balance those worlds by treating them as one. To me, the cosmic is emotional, and the emotional is danceable. I use bass to ground, melody to lift, and rhythm to move. It’s like weaving a tapestry—each element has its place, and together they create an experience that’s both expansive and intimate. The key is to stay true to the feeling and let the track tell me what it needs.

In what ways do you hope I AM YOU becomes a platform for connection and community?

I hope I AM YOU becomes a space where artists and listeners can remember that we’re all part of the same story. I want the label to be a bridge, between genres, between cultures, between people. Through music, events, and collaborations, I want to create a community that values authenticity, resonance, and transformation. It’s not just about releasing tracks; it’s about raising vibrations and elevating our consciousness.

Who will the label work with in future, will you A&R solely yourself, or look to grow more of a close-knit label family?

Initially, I’ll be curating myself, focusing on artists whose work aligns with the label’s vision. But the goal is to grow a close-knit family, a collective of creators who share a commitment to depth and resonance. I’m looking for artists who see music as a sacred tool, not a product. Over time, I hope to build a community where everyone supports and inspires each other.

Is there plans for merchandise, tours, and label showcases?

Yes, absolutely. We’re planning to release limited edition creative merch that reflects the label’s aesthetic and ethos. Supporting young and talented multidisciplinary artists. Tours and label showcases are also in the works, with the aim of bringing the I AM YOU experience to live audiences around the world. These events will be more than just performances, they’ll be immersive journeys designed to connect and elevate.

What would you say right now is on the top of your Xmas wish list?

More time in nature, more moments of stillness, and more opportunities to create without distraction.

What else have you got coming up or excited about moving into 2026?

Moving into 2026, I’m excited about expanding the label’s reach, collaborating with visionary artists, and exploring new sonic territories. There’s tons of music finished already getting ready to be released and really exciting partnerships and festivals on the horizon!

I am you, you are me, we are one, and we are here to rise together!

Let’s Dance!!!!
