Movies casinos we’d love to visit

Most of us love to gamble from time to time, but we conveniently just use our smartphones for it these days. Yet, if we could, it would be unforgettable to visit one of the famous gambling hotspots of the world and play blackjack, roulette or poker amongst celebrities. These are a few gambling locations that have become well-known and popular partly because they are featured in great movies.

The Bellagio Hotel In Las Vegas

In the technologically advanced world of today, most of us gamble online and thanks to resources like this handy article we can find the best deals for live casino gaming. However, who wouldn’t dream of gambling surrounded by big tycoons?

If you were tasked to name a famous gambling location, you’re likely to think of The Bellagio Hotel. This iconic location created by Steve Wynn and run by MGM Resorts is a byword for extravagance. Bellagio delivers an exceptional experience, from its luxurious rooms to its breathtaking vistas.

The distinctive Fountains of Bellagio, one of the most well-known and photographed locations on the opulent Las Vegas Strip, draw tourists and celebrities from all over the world despite the fact that not many people can afford to stay there. The Fountains of Bellagio are featured both in The Hangover Part III and Jason Bourne, but the movie that made the most use of this iconic water feature is Ocean’s Eleven, in the scene where the crew gather to enjoy a moment of reflection before parting ways.

Caesars Palace In Las Vegas

Still in Vegas, we can find another well-known venue for premier gambling opportunities. The luxurious resort, built with mob money and spelt with no apostrophe, is known for being grandiose and providing themed rooms to remember. Caesars boasts a network of pools called the Garden of the Gods, which features large mosaics, swimming pool blackjack tables, an 18-foot waterfall and a VIP cabana.

The wolfpack from The Hangover stayed at Caesars Palace as well as in many other locations highlighted by Roadtrippers, but superheroes also attended the casino. The first Iron Man movie saw Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) avoid an awards ceremony by playing craps at Caesars Palace and then leading astray reporter Christine Everhart (Leslie Bibb) outside.

Golden Dragon Casino in Macau

Las Vegas remains the king of gambling locations, but Macau is the up-and-coming contender to the crown and the 2012 hit Skyfall did a great deal to bring attention to the port city on the southern coast of China, around 40 miles away from Hong Kong.

James Bond is notoriously famous for gambles, as this interesting piece outlines, but in an unusual choice of game in Skyfall, here the super spy plays the sic bo. The casino scenes were actually filmed at the Pinewood Studies in the UK and made to look like Macau with great attention to detail in the interiors and Golden Dragon logos. But who can resist a paradisaic location bathed in opulence?
