On Tour with Culture Wars

Austin-based alt-rock band Culture Wars take 1883 on the road with them opening up for Wallows.

Fresh off the runaway momentum of their latest single “Typical Ways,” Austin-based alt-rock band Culture Wars hit the road earlier this month for a whirlwind run through Mexico, opening for indie heavyweights Wallows. The result? Three electric nights, three massive crowds, and one unforgettable ride across the heart of Latin America.

In this exclusive photo diary for 1883 Magazine, we speak with vocalist Alex Dugan of Culture Wars as they soaked up the sights, sounds, and chaos of tour life — from behind-the-scenes moments and stage-side snapshots to late-night tacos and everything in between.
