SexyTadhg returns with radiant new single "Claim My Love."

Irish LGBTQIA+ trailblazer SexyTadhg (pronounced Sexy-Tie-g) is back with “Claim My Love”, the latest release from their forthcoming EP Sexy, out September 10th. “No act of self love is more rewarding and fulfilling than setting personal boundaries and protecting your peace,” explains SexyTadhg on the track. “Don’t you play with my emotions and then try to “Claim my Love.”

“Claim My Love” is a euphoric blend of big band jazz, theatrical soul, and dazzling pop. Bursting with brass, keys, layered harmonies, and a groove-rich rhythm section, the track channels the grandiosity of Tadhg’s live shows while showcasing their magnetic, commanding vocal presence.

The single follows an electrifying start to 2025: a main support slot on The Mary Wallopers’ sold-out UK tour, widespread airplay across RTÉ 2FM and BBC Radio 6 Music, major national press acclaim (Dork, Clash, Notion, Irish Times, Hot Press, Nialler9), and multiple TV performances on The Six O’Clock Show and Síorstíl. Riding this momentum, Tadhg continues to cement their place as one of Ireland’s most exciting new voices.

Speaking further about the single, SexyTadhg shares, “It’s house, its disco, its bright, its beautiful, it’s a daily reminder that your mind, your personality, your vulnerability and you as a beautiful human being are precious and should only be held in the hands of those that value, understand and respect you.”

The momentum has only grown with a Studio 8 session for Ray D’Arcy, interviews with Louise Cantillon and Tracy Clifford, and recognition from The Irish Times as one of their “50 to Watch”. SexyTadhg also won the Dublin Fringe Festival’s ‘Radical Spirit’ Award, further underlining their fearless approach to art, identity, and activism. And with headline shows confirmed in London, Cork, and Dublin, alongside major summer festival slots at All Together Now and Beyond The Pale, SexyTadhg is stepping forward as a flamboyant, fearless, and fiercely political new voice in Irish music.

The Sexy EP arrives September 10th, with a bilingual single “Ceannasacht” also on the horizon, continuing Tadhg’s commitment to Irish language, queer visibility, and radical imagination.
