SIG SALI | ‘Love’s Elixir’

Ahead of his EP Chaos In My Mind, SIG SALI releases 'Love's Elixir.'

Fresh from the announcement of his debut Glastonbury Festival performance, Bristol-based producer, vocalist, and songwriter SIG SALI releases ‘Love’s Elixir’, the final single taken from his much-anticipated new EP Chaos In My Mind, out July 6th.

“This song is about that kind of love that hits like a car crash: you don’t see it coming and suddenly it’s everywhere,” the singer admits. “It’s reckless, obsessive, messy as hell, but it feels the most alive you’ve ever been!”

Known for his genre-defying sound, SIG SALI weaves a vivid sonic tapestry of glitchy electronics, vocoder-soaked vocals, and soaring guitar work. Blending the atmospheric intensity of M83, the alt-pop sensibility of Glass Animals, and the emotional punch of The 1975, his work creates something equally immersive and entirely his own. On Chaos In My Mind, SALI masterfully fuses elements of hyper-pop, indie-rock, and electronic experimentation, resulting in a project that’s as emotionally raw as it is sonically refined.

The new single was produced in collaboration with Freddie Cowan (The Vaccines, Freddie & The Scenarios), mixed by Ricardo Acasuso (The Vaccines), and mastered by Mike Marsh. ‘Love’s Elixir’ captures the EP’s signature palette, lo-fi textures, biting guitar leads, and melodic pop sensibility, delivering something accessible but never predictable, catchy yet complex.

“You’re staying out too late, saying too much, laughing at nothing, touching as if you’re trying to memorise each other,” says Danny [Sali] about the track. “There’s this fake confidence in the beginning, like you’re both playing it cool, but underneath, it’s terrifying because you know you’re already in too deep… It’s that moment where you don’t care if it’s gonna fall apart later, you just want to stay in the high a little longer. That’s what this song is. It’s not perfect. It’s real.”

As a whole, Chaos In My Mind aims to offer a vivid window into the emotional and creative psyche of SIG SALI. Described by the artist as a swirling meditation on love, obsession, and instability, the EP moves fluidly between visceral vulnerability and cinematic soundscapes. Themes of obsession, anxiety, heartbreak, and desire blur into a cohesive narrative of emotional unrest and creative freedom.

“Chaos In My Mind is exactly what it sounds like — a swirl of obsession, anxiety, love, and confusion all fighting for space inside my head. It’s like stepping into someone else’s messy world, caught somewhere between real life and the wild, twisted stories they tell themselves. So this EP isn’t purely about me, but about fragments of things I’ve seen, felt, or imagined over time. There’s reckless love, nights that spiral out of control, moments of raw vulnerability, and impulses that hit without warning. It’s dark, impulsive, and far from neat… it’s alive. Working with Freddie Cowan (ex-The Vaccines) brought it to life. His guitar playing became a voice of its own—urgent, unpredictable, and vital to the storytelling. This EP is as much about his energy as my writing. It’s chaotic, honest, and alive. And I wouldn’t change a thing.”

‘Love’s Elixir’ is out now.
