When I think of dream beauty events, this one ticks every box — skincare innovation, champagne (plus an excellent alcohol-free alternative, thank you very much), caviar, and the setting: a stunning Belgravia townhouse that’s also home to a private clinic. Yes, really. It was the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to serious skincare conversations (and a delicious brunch).
I was fortunate enough to be invited to a very intimate brunch celebrating the new partnership between Amanda Caroline Cronin’s Secret Door Clinic and Crystal Clear Skincare, and let me just say — if skincare heaven exists, it probably looks a lot like Amanda’s living room.
A Clinic That Feels Like Home (Because It Literally Is)
Tucked behind an elegant entrance in the heart of Belgravia, the Secret Door Clinic is nestled in Amanda’s own home — and it’s every bit as chic as you’d imagine. Think soft neutral tones, plush velvet seating, fresh flowers, and glowing skin everywhere you turn.
This wasn’t your average networking event. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with strawberry-topped pancakes, canapés that looked too pretty to eat, and smoothies that somehow tasted healthy and indulgent. It set the tone: elegant, elevated, and all about skin health as self-care.

The afternoon kicked off with a panel featuring Amanda Caroline, who looked radiant in that “I actually use my own skincare line” way, alongside Sharon Hilditch MBE, the powerhouse behind Crystal Clear Skincare, and Dr. Richard, a respected aesthetic doctor and dentist known for his subtle tweakments and high-end clientele.
Hearing Amanda speak about her skincare journey (she is a skin cancer survivor) was genuinely inspiring. She’s not just another celebrity slapping her name on a bottle — she’s deeply involved, passionate, and clearly knows what she’s doing. Her whole ethos is about creating ritualistic skincare that feels luxurious but actually works. One thing she said that stuck with me was: “Looking after your skin is a form of self-care — it’s the ritual and the results that empower you.” (Honestly? Preach.)
Sharon introduced us to Skinstorm, Crystal Clear’s newest innovation and the star of the show.
So, What Is Skinstorm?
Think of it as the Rolls-Royce of facials. It’s a multi-step, personalised treatment that uses oxygen, light therapy, cold technology, and even drone delivery systems (yes, skincare has gone sci-fi). It’s non-invasive, highly customisable, and designed to rejuvenate, detox, and glow you up.
We got to watch the treatment live in Amanda’s actual clinic room downstairs and it was honestly fascinating to see the technology at work. The person receiving the facial had noticeably fresher, calmer-looking skin by the end. It wasn’t one of those overhyped “instant glow” things — it looked healthy.

I’ve been invited back to try Skinstorm properly, so I’ll be reporting back in full soon, stay tuned.
Before we left, we were treated to a gift bag with two of Amanda Caroline’s luxury products and one from Crystal Clear. I’ve been using them since the event, and yes, they’re as dreamy as promised. The formulas are incredibly hydrating and elegant — and yes, the price tag reflects that. Amanda’s products are definitely at the high end of the beauty spectrum, with serums starting at around £150. But if you’re looking for luxury, these tick every box.

Beauty events can sometimes feel a bit too polished or overly promotional, but this one struck the perfect balance. It was intimate, informative, and honestly, it felt like being let in on a really chic secret (which, let’s face it, is exactly what the clinic name promises).
There’s something really exciting about the collaboration between Amanda Caroline’s luxurious skincare philosophy and Crystal Clear’s tech-forward treatments. It’s not just about beauty — it’s about skin health, and that’s a message I’m so here for.
Stay tuned for the full Skinstorm review coming soon — and in the meantime, if you’re looking to seriously elevate your skincare, Amanda’s Haute Lift Serum is a pretty good place to start.
