The Delarose Sisters Unveil SS26 ‘Oh My Cherry’ Collection: A Nostalgic Love Letter to 90s Glamour and Sustainable Luxury

The London-based sustainable luxury swimwear and resortwear label The Delarose Sisters are set to turn heads this season with the launch of their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, aptly titled “Oh My Cherry.”

Known for their sculpting silhouettes and commitment to eco-conscious manufacturing, sisters Ivana and Valentina Delarose have traded their signature pinks for a bold, retro-inspired palette that channels the unapologetic glamour of the 1990s.

The new collection, which debuted to critical acclaim following a high-octane runway presentation at Miami Swim Week, fuses together the brand’s high-end ethos with a playful, pop-culture aesthetic. It is a deliberate pivot toward the cherry red and burgundy tones that have dominated fashion and beauty trends over the past year, reimagined through the lens of vintage Hollywood icons.

A Retro Renaissance

For the “Oh My Cherry” collection, The Delarose Sisters drew deep from the well of pop culture nostalgia, specifically the bombshell era of the 1990s.

“The ‘Oh My Cherry’ Collection was inspired by the rise of cherry red and burgundy tones we kept seeing across fashion and beauty last year,” the sisters tell us. “Instead of our usual pinks, we decided to play with red and 1990s-inspired stud pieces. We blended our signature glamorous swim silhouettes with a slight retro influence to create a cherry pop collection.”

This retro influence is more than just a color story; it is a cinematic experience. The sisters, who share a deep passion for vintage aesthetics, looked to old Hollywood icons and mid-century Americana for direction.

“Old Hollywood glamour and icons are definitely part of the inspiration for this new collection,” said Ivana Delarose. “From red vintage cars and classic diners to milkshakes, bold red lipstick, and iconic women who defined an era. Vintage prints have been a staple design throughout many of our collections. As London-based designers, this nostalgic aesthetic is a shared passion and inspiration for us both.”

Standout pieces in the collection pay homage to specific pop culture moments. The brand’s red studded bikini, for instance, is a direct nod to Pamela Anderson’s iconic 1990s bombshell era, reimagined through a modern, feminine Delarose lens.

Miami Swim Week: A Global Stage

The “Oh My Cherry” collection made its public debut at Miami Swim Week 2025, an event that has become a crucible for emerging and established swimwear talent. For The Delarose Sisters, the show was a resounding success, far exceeding their expectations.

The runway presentation drew a massive crowd, with approximately 15,000 buyers, press, influencers, and industry professionals in attendance. Beyond the physical venue, the show generated millions of streams across social platforms, solidifying the brand’s connection to a Gen Z audience that values both style and substance.

The show featured a lineup of talent that underscored the brand’s industry connections, including influencer and Lady Code cosmetics founder Lisa Opie, who opened the show wearing the brand’s “soul mate coord set.”

The Campaign: An All-Female Vision

To capture the essence of the “Oh My Cherry” collection, The Delarose Sisters turned to a trusted collaborator. The campaign was shot by photographer Mollie Hosmer, known on social media as @freckfiles.

“Mollie really understands the brand’s identity and worked with us on bringing the vision to life,” said Valentina Delarose. “We’ve worked with her for a few years now, and it’s really inspiring having an all female team when shooting.”

This female-led creative process is central to the brand’s identity, fostering an environment where the sisters’ vision can be executed with precision and artistic integrity.

Sustainability at the Core

While the aesthetic of the SS26 collection is undeniably bold and fun, The Delarose Sisters remain steadfast in their commitment to environmental responsibility. Since the sisters first founded the brand in 2020, they have carved a niche in the luxury market by proving that high fashion does not have to come at the expense of the planet.

The brand designs statement swimwear, sculpting silhouettes produced in small-batch runs using regenerated and recycled fabrics. That includes materials derived from recovered ocean plastics. Their manufacturing process takes place in a solar-powered facility, minimizing their carbon footprint.

When asked about their biggest accomplishments as swim designers, the sisters prioritized their ethical standards over accolades.

“Finding the resources to make our designs eco-conscious instead of using harmful materials and fabric will always be our biggest best accomplishment,” said Ivana Delarose.

However, the emotional impact of their work is a close second. “Another major accomplishment is seeing both of our designs as sisters come to life as they walk down the runway,” said Valentina Delarose. “We also love it when we see people wearing The Delarose Sisters’ pieces on their vacations. There’s nothing more enjoyable than seeing people look and feel good in your designs.”

A Gen Z Brand with Global Reach

The Delarose Sisters carved out their brand from scratch. Since first founding their brand in their London apartment, the duo brought their respective expertise to create new options for young women in the swimwear industry. Ivana Delarose comes from the world of fashion journalism, as she is a respected fashion writer contributing to prominent publications such as Grazia, Cosmopolitan, and Esquire.

Meanwhile, Valentina, a fashion design graduate from the Fashion Retail Academy in London, has honed her skills as a creative director, an influencer, a photo director and stylist. She has worked on a styling project for Gary James McQueen, the nephew of notable London fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Gary James McQueen previously served as Head of Textiles at Alexander McQueen before launching his own company. Valentina Delarose collaborated with him on a styling project.

Together, the sisters are also notable international DJs in London and Ibiza, among other high profile nightlife and retail venues.

This dual role as designer and industry commentator has established the sisters as fashion authorities, lending additional credibility to the brand. Their strategic approach to brand storytelling and press has paid dividends. The brand has been featured in Conde Nast publications, InStyle, and Forbes, and has garnered over 2 million impressions on social media following their recent runway exposure.

Retail presence has also expanded rapidly. The Delarose Sisters are stocked internationally via Wolf & Badger and their direct-to-consumer platform, and have recently been selected to stock in renowned retailers like O Beach Ibiza. This selection highlights the brand’s appeal to a discerning, travel-savvy clientele that values originality and sustainability.

Looking Forward in 2026

As the “Oh My Cherry” collection hits the market, The Delarose Sisters are poised to capture the hearts of fashion lovers looking for swimwear that combines a playful, retro spirit with a clear conscience. By blending the glamour of the past with the sustainable innovations of the future, Ivana and Valentina Delarose continue to prove that luxury swimwear can be both beautiful and responsible.
