International pop superstar in the making, IVY, is back with an anthemic new single.
The Norwegian-born, London-based pop act has returned with a new single entitled ‘High’, which is being exclusively premiered on 1883 today.
Produced by Liam McCluskey and co-written with Liam McCluskey and Andrew Bates, ‘High’ sees IVY continuing her collaborative relationship with trusted creatives while refining her sonic direction. The release marks another step forward in her growing catalogue, building on a series of carefully curated pop records.
Sonically, it’s a confident track boasting pristine vocals, a club-ready energy, and bold electronic textures.
Thematically, the song is inspired by the minimalist confidence of late-night European pop; it intends to hit just as hard on the dancefloor as it does through headphones.

IVY previously released music under the name bby ivy, before relaunching as IVY and quickly gaining attention for her sharp visual identity and polished pop sound.
Her work has earned recognition from key industry tastemakers, including being named Rolling Stone UK’s Artist to Watch in June last year, IVY’s track ‘Losing Sleep’ featured on Love Island UK.
On the live circuit, she has supported Pop act Conor Maynard on a European tour and performed to thousands at major festivals such as WKND, Solar Sound, Tynesfest and Goroso festivals.
For someone who has pivoted, IVY continues to grow, with millions of streams and 6.4 million YouTube views.
‘High’ showcases IVY’s talent on a whole new level. This new era is shaping up to be her most inspired and exciting yet.
A new EP is set for release in April, with ‘High’ serving as one of the first releases from the project.
