TroyBoi has released his brand-new single, “Beggin,” a hypnotic collaboration with rising Indo-Swiss artist BombayMami, out now via Ultra Records. The track offers the first taste of his EP, Rootz, which is out now.
“Beggin” continues TroyBoi’s deep exploration of South Asian-inspired sounds, a direction he’s embraced throughout 2025. Earlier this year, he delivered “Masala,” a high-energy festival anthem, followed by “Kabhi,” a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. Featured in Rolling Stone India, these releases mark a deeply personal chapter in TroyBoi’s journey, where heritage and identity are at the forefront of his artistry.
The collaboration with BombayMami adds a powerful new dimension to that narrative. Known for her viral single “Fire In Delhi,”where she snowboarded down the Swiss Alps in a traditional lehenga, BombayMami has quickly become a standout voice with her fearless fusion of cultures. On “Beggin,” her soulful, evocative vocals blend seamlessly with TroyBoi’s atmospheric, slow-tempo production, creating a track that feels both cinematic and intimate.
