1883 On Rotation: Tigerstate, Elle chante, Creature Cult

The latest in new music from Tigerstate, Elle Chante, Creature Cult, Matt B & more on this week’s 1883 playlist.

On rotation this week is Tigerstate, a band which is undoubtedly one of Norway’s most interesting new acts at the moment. It’s all thanks to their disco-driven sound and their penchant for writing intoxicating tunes. The group’s debut record is out now, Make sure to check out new single, Occupied. Elle Chante is a singer, model and activist from the Midlands. She’s just dropped her latest track Hazy. It’s taken from the artist’s forthcoming new EP Into The Night and it features serene vocals and dense beats. You can Chante when she performs at Midlands Art Centre on September 14th. The Essex-based duo Creature Cult have just revealed their debut single, ughly. Comprised of Connar Ridd (vocals/guitar) and Jonn Downham (synths/backing vocals), the alt track is an exhilarating first release which is thematically based on sticking a middle finger up to anyone who tries to tear you down and make you feel like you can’t be your authentic self. Expect to hear much more from this exciting act in the near future. R&B artist Matt B has returned with the lush track I’m Here With You. It’s an ode to declaring your undying adoration for your partner and features falsetto vocals, delicate acoustic, and electronic nuances. Over the last several years, the artist has garnered over 8 million global streams and gained fans across the world.

Elsewhere on the playlist, you can find Mass Appeal, the catchy single from Franc Moody. We recently sat down with Ned & Jon from the band to discuss their new record, Into The Ether.
