The latest in new music from Dai Burger, Cosmo’s Midnight, James Fauntleroy, Mary Middlefield & more in this week’s 1883 On Rotation playlist.

On rotation this week is the Parisian artist Salomé Le Chat. The electronic music artist has just shared the new track Single Kiss and it’s fantastic. If you’re a fan of energetic EDM tracks then this could be one for you. The buzzy artist has performed at clubs across Paris and LA, so make sure to catch her live. New York’s Dai Burger is bringing swagger and charisma on her new track, Whole A$$ Mood (W.A.M.). It’s full of sharp flows and vibrant electronic textures. The track is lifted from the rapper’s forthcoming Dai Dreamin’ EP which drops February 2024. Brother-duo Cosmo’s Midnight is bringing the funk and grooves with their new track, Borrowed Time (featuring Forest Claudette). The track boasts lush vocals, slinky bass, and utterly blissful sonics. You can expect more from this Australian act next year. The Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy has just dropped his debut solo record, The Warmest Winter Ever, today. The project features 25 festive tracks which can be enjoyed at any time of the year. Take the album track The Neck for example, it is full of sultry vocals and interesting sonics.

Elsewhere in the playlist, you can find the newly released live version of d4vd’s Romantic Homicide. The studio version is taken from his critically acclaimed 2023 Petals to Thorns EP. This version brings a new edge to the track, benefitted by his stage persona, and sublime live vocals. Abby Roberts has unveiled the new single, volatile. It’s full of dreamy vocals and indie guitar hooks as the rising artist sings about the breakdown of a friendship. Songwriter Evalyn has shared the emotive single, Nightmare. The track is dramatic, dark, and thrilling thanks to its electro-pop sounds. It’s the lead single from the artist’s digital deluxe re-release of her Salvation LP which lands December 15th. Finally, Swiss singer-songwriter Mary Middlefield has released the track, Atlantis. Atlantis follows on from the artist’s well-received debut album which was released earlier this year. The track’s folky sonics pair wonderfully with Middlefield’s gorgeous vocals and her vulnerable lyricism.
