Commons | Clean Living

Nottingham indie-rockers Commons unveil their their eagerly awaited debut EP, Clean Living.

Renowned for their unique fusion of indie rock and electronic elements, the band has made a name for themselves with their high-energy live shows in and around Nottingham, extensive radio play across the UK, inclusion in Apple Music editorial playlists, and widespread support from tastemaker press.

Their sound—energetic and irresistibly catchy—has drawn comparisons to heavyweights like Kasabian, Foals, and Bloc Party. With lush synth lines, tight guitar riffs, driving drums, and unforgettable melodies, Commons offers a blend that’s both commercially appealing and strikingly alternative.

“’Clean Living’ is a tribute to our diverse musical tastes,” the band explains. “Each song brings a unique flair, something exciting that hooks you and leaves you wanting more. The tracks tell a variety of short stories and experiences rather than focusing on a single event or emotion.”

Commons have already wowed audiences with their electrifying live shows, including a sold-out performance at Beat The Streets Festival in January. Their buzz continues to grow with strong press support from outlets like Earmilk, Ones To Watch, and Fame Magazine. With upcoming gigs, including a headline show at Rough Trade Nottingham on June 8th, Commons are making a significant impact both locally and beyond.
