Hanna Andréa knows what it feels like to climb without ever reaching the top, and her new single “Pinnacles” turns that feeling into something you can actually watch unfold. The track is out now, alongside its accompanying music video.

The Norwegian-American pop artist built her name on cinematic sound and storytelling that goes beyond the track itself, and this video keeps that streak alive. It arrives as the second preview of her forthcoming EP “Braveheart”, due August 21, following lead single “GET OFF YOUR PHONE.”

“Pinnacles” trades that single’s screen-obsessed energy for something more introspective. Synths swell against acoustic guitar and strings as Andréa unpacks the exhaustion that comes with relentless ambition, the sense that slowing down means falling behind. It all lands on one gutting refrain: “Feels like falling.”

That tension between beauty and burden is exactly what the video visualises, matching the track’s pull between delicate verses and sweeping, cinematic choruses.

It’s the kind of visual storytelling Andréa has built her whole project around. Since debuting with “Starlight” in 2024, she’s drawn comparisons to AURORA, Laufey and Jacob Collier, but her instinct for treating every release as part of a bigger picture, whole bodies of work rather than one-off singles, is what sets her apart. That instinct extends beyond music entirely: she’s also the composer behind Muse! The Shakespeare Mayhem Musical, heading to the Edinburgh Fringe this August after a premiere at Lincoln Center.

With “Braveheart” two weeks out, “Pinnacles” confirms this EP is shaping up to be Andréa’s most emotionally direct work yet.
