Imaginarium, a Dutch fusion of contemporary jazz and electronic elements, has unleashed their highly anticipated self-titled debut album, captivating audiences with its hypnotic, beautiful, and entrancing soundscape. The release has garnered early support from esteemed platforms such as Jazz FM, Earmilk, and God Is In The TV, spotlighting the band’s enigmatic musical vision.

Led by acclaimed producer, writer, and keyboardist Anton de Bruin, known for his work on Disney+ series string arrangements and his contributions to acclaimed bands like Dragonfruit and Peter Somuah Group, Imaginarium presents a sprawling, vibrant, and exhilarating blend of neo-jazz. From soulful R&B moments to dynamic instrumental jazz passages, the album offers an intoxicating musical journey, driven by precise drum work and layered with rich synths, organs, pianos, rhythmic basslines, guitars, and vibrant brass sections.

Filled with euphoria, vivid colours, and a sense of liberation, the album showcases remarkable musicianship, ranging from tightly structured riffs to spontaneous instrumental improvisations. Anton elaborates on the project, describing Imaginarium as a fusion of reality and fiction, where jazz, dub, and club culture intersect seamlessly.

With a track record of acclaim in previous endeavours, extensive European tours, and coverage across influential publications like Wonderland, Earmilk, Atwood Magazine, C-Heads, Sterefox, and Kaltblut, as well as airplay on international radio stations such as Amazing Radio A-List, Sublime FM, NPO 3FM, NPO Soul n Jazz, and Q Music, Imaginarium has already established a strong presence. Following a series of live performances across Holland in 2023, their debut album solidifies their position as one of the most thrilling new acts to emerge on the music scene.
