OXYBUZ – Flawed – Track Premiere
Toronto singer-songwriter OXYBUZ finds inspiration in the disintegration of a relationship in his new track “Flawed.”
It takes a good singer-songwriter to find inspiration in themes surrounding love, but it takes a powerful and impactful one to find inspiration in things severely effecting our world — like climate change. The underground artist OXYBUZ has done just that with his new EP “Gaia,” a glimpse into his mind where he pulls from one of the most dystopian themes — the end of the world — as the framing for the body of work. His single “Flawed” may be about the break down of a relationship, but its clear there are bigger themes flickering throughout.
When asked about the inspiration behind “Flawed” OXYBUZ states, “Flawed is about the degradation of relationships between people. Whether it’s a relationship or a friendship, flawed is about how selfishness prevails in people and with how the world is moving now, I feel like connections from person to person are breaking apart more than ever. I took the perspective of both sides, showing how most of us are hypocrites when it comes to judging how others treat us, because in the end we all have our own best interests at heart.”
“Gaia” and “Flawed” demonstrate that the Toronto-based artist isn’t just one that listeners can casually listen to; you have to be wholly immersed in the music. Check out “Flawed” now.
