From the very beginning to the grand finale, he captivated the audience with a show that was truly one-of-a-kind.

As his band members joined him on stage and the lights dimmed, signalling the start of the show, it was evident that Sampha was about to deliver the musical experience of a lifetime. With a diverse array of instruments and intricate stage setups, Sampha showcased a musicality that has matured and flourished over the course of his career.

The musicality of his performance is undeniable. He built up the songs with introductions, which enriched them and brought them out of their original state before lacing his vocals and creating an extended appreciation for his artistic process.

The setlist, a meticulously crafted sonic journey, began with the suspenseful “Suspense” from Lahai and culminated with the electrifying “Blood of Me”. Each moment was a unique experience, from the introspective “Plastic 100°” to the soul-stirring “Spirit”, the rhythmic “Dancing Circles”, and the poignant and fan favourite “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano”.

Before departing the stage, he thanked everybody who shared the stage with him, including his fellow band members, Little Simz, Jessie Ware, and Ghetts, to name a few.

After a six-year hiatus, Sampha’s return to the stage was a momentous occasion, a milestone in his ever-growing and blossoming career. His show, a testament to his ability to transcend his vocal talent, was a jubilant celebration of his skill as a musician, leaving an indelible mark on his musical journey.
