Your CBD Guide to Choosing the Best Organic CBD Oil

Hemp, the plant from which CBD oil is derived, has been used as a medicinal herb for thousands of years. The explosion of CBD oil into popular culture, however, is a much more recent event.

In the past few years, CBD oil has become more and more common. CBD dispensaries seem to pop up on every corner! And with that popularity comes an ever-increasing number of types of CBD oils.

With so many options, how do you know which is the best organic CBD oil for you? Well, it’s actually easier than you might think! To learn how to choose the right CBD oil for you, just keep reading.

Consider Your Goals

As with any health product, it’s good to know your reasons for using it before you begin. Knowing your goals with CBD use will help you choose the right product.

Are you simply trying to improve overall wellness? Conquer your recurring insomnia? Fight off arthritic pain?

If you want to take CBD to alleviate occasional anxiety, for example, you’ll want to avoid CBD oil containing any energy-boosting ingredients.

Choose a Type

There are three main types of CBD oil: full spectrum, broad-spectrum, and CBD isolate. When you’re choosing an organic CBD oil, start by choosing between them.

Full spectrum CBD oil is an extract of the whole hemp plant. It’s the least processed and filtered, retaining as many natural compounds of the hemp plant as possible. Though full spectrum CBD does contain THC, the psychoactive compound, it’s not enough to produce any noticeable effects.

Broad-spectrum CBD is almost the same as full spectrum except that it doesn’t contain THC. If THC is illegal in your state or you’re concerned about the chemical, this option is your best bet.

Last, there’s CBD isolate, which goes through the most rigorous CBD extraction process. It’s pure CBD and contains no other compounds from the hemp plant. Because it’s less effective than the other two options, it’s not recommended unless it’s your only choice.

Choose a Strength

All organic CBD oil, no matter the type, comes with a potency measured in milligrams. The higher the milligrams per serving, the stronger the CBD oil will be.

Low strength CBD oil contains 150-300mg of CBD. If you’ve never used CBD oil before, this is a great place to start.

Medium strength CBD oil has a much higher CBD content, between 450 and 750mg. This option is best for those with an average BMI who know how their body reacts to CBD.

The highest strength CBD contains 750-900mg of CBD, these are often marketed as “extra-strength” and shouldn’t be used unless you have a high BMI or a high tolerance for CBD.

Improve Your Health With the Best Organic CBD Oil

From pain relief to reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, CBD oil use comes with a wide variety of benefits. Using this guide, you’ll be able to sift through the seemingly endless options and arrive at the best organic CBD oil for you.

Though CBD oil isn’t a replacement for professional medical and mental health care, it’s a fantastic tool for boosting the effects of other positive lifestyle changes.
