On rotation this week is the new explosive single, “Bored”, from Crows. It’s an effortlessly cool punk tune with gritty guitars, pounding drums, and commanding vocals. The band is gearing up to release their new record, “Reason Enough on September 27 via Bad Vibrations. Returning after their debut EP Wildflowers, The Youth Play has shared the new track called “If We Just Ever Were”. It’s a slick indie-rock song with spoken word vocals, glorious reverb guitar, and fast-paced drums. Thematically, “If We Just Ever Were” was written in the context of how a big city like London, where its energy and people can be overwhelming and makes you feel captive to a cycle around being successful. Talented artist Eli Smart has shared his latest single, “How Come?”. The stellar song is full of lush vocals, and alternative 90s rock influences whilst also blending elements of guitar-pop, soul, and tropical soundscapes together. The end result is sublime. Eli will be releasing his debut record No Summer on September 6 via his own label, Aloha Soul Disques. Portuguese artist Extrazen has dropped the single, “HOLLYWOOD”. It’s an alt-pop gem with a bass-heavy beat and features vocals from Herlander and Odete. Catch Extrazen at NOS Alive on July 12.

Elsewhere in the playlist, you can find Sigala’s new tack “It’s A Feeling” which features Trevor Daniel and 24kGoldn. The globally recognised DJ and producer has released yet another club-ready anthem thanks to its hard-hitting beat and polished production. Next up, the inimitable Lana Del Rey has teamed up with popular rapper Quavo for the single, “Tough”. This particular song has been long-awaited by fans after an Instagram reels teaser reached a staggering 40 million views. Evidently, it was well worth the wait. The pair offer up a psychedelic-country experience that boasts mesmerising vocals, atmospheric soundscapes, and rap influences. Nigerian singer-songwriter Godwin has shared his new track “Abeke”. It’s an upbeat release with emotional lyrics that explore the feelings around heartbreak. “Abeke” is a teaser from his forthcoming debut album which is expected this autumn. Finally, the French-British artist Camille Jansen has shared her debut LP, Loose Screws. Make sure to listen to the acoustic-led album track “Rocky Revolution” for stunning, bluesy vocals, introspective lyricism, and to hear Jansen’s raw talent.
