Despite only releasing her debut single last year, alt-pop singer-songwriter Ruby Roberts could very well be your new favourite artist. The Bath-based musician delicately blends influences from David Bowie to Lana Del Rey, and has already started to earn fans in the UK and US. Her debut EP Somersault Queen has already earned more than 10 million streams since it launched last November.

To celebrate the release of her new single ‘Bad Girl July‘, Ruby has taken over our 1883 playlist, sharing some of her favourite songs.
