Favourite spot to get breakfast?

Breakfast is my favourite meal, I love the entire essence of getting up early & leisurely strolling to start my day. One of my favourite spots, Yves in Tribeca, has an amazing eggs benedict, but I also love Daily Provisions for a quicker, casual option.

Now that you’ve had breakfast, what store do you like to go to indulge?

I apologize in advance, I don’t think I will be able to answer any of these questions with just one suggestion! I love walking around the Lower East Side and Nolita, popping into independently owned boutiques. In a world where trends are massively adopted, I have found myself craving curation and unique selections. A few of my favourites are Bode, Oroboro, Assembly New York, & Coming Soon.

You need caffeine — what café are we going to?

I have always loved coffee, and the ritual of going out in the mornings to grab a latte and walk my dog is one that I look forward to so much. Some of my favourites are Fellini, Interlude, & Coffee Project.

If someone was visiting your city, what tourist activity would you do with them?

I wouldn’t necessarily say this is the most touristy, I try to go a few times a year myself, but I would definitely make sure we go to the incredible museums New York has to offer. Specifically the Met and the Guggenheim.

Where can we go in the city to take in the views?

Nothing puts it into perspective like seeing it from the top of the Empire State Building. Otherwise, I have taken a boat with friends around the East River and it is a beautiful way to see the skyline.

Now that it’s lunch time, where should we go? Best thing on the menu?

I am obsessed with Rigor Hill Market, everything is made with produce from their farm. I love their veggie sandwich & the rotating soups never disappoint. They also offer fresh produce and amazing pastries, breakfast goods.

Where is your favourite place in your city?

I love the West Village, the various cafes, wine bars, parks, and shops have so much character. The architecture is so beautiful, and I love the sense of neighborliness it has. I also love going to the Hudson River piers, I find watching the water and being outdoors always grounds me.

For the evening we need a new look — what’s the best place for vintage shopping?

This might be the most difficult question yet! I love vintage shopping, the hunt is such a thrill to me. There is something so special about giving another life to a piece that someone let go of. My personal favourites are James Veloria, Stella Dallas Living, Le Grand Strip, Treasures of NYC, & Tokio7.

What’s the best bar to go for a drink before the night begins? Drink recommendation?

I adore Attaboy, it is tiny and the drinks are outstanding. But my favourite part about it: you do not order a specific drink. You tell the bartender what liquor you may want alongside flavours you enjoy & the magic happens. It’s such a fun experience and the staff is so kind and warm.

If it’s date night, what spot are you going to?

I love Forsythia, it is some of the best pasta in the city. But if we are talking something fancy, I love going to L’Avenue or Nobu. Other honorable mentions I always go back to: Lilia, Sogno Toscano, Potluck Club, & L’Artusi.

If it’s girl’s night, where are we going dancing?

Paul’s Casablanca is one of my favourite spots to go dancing, the mood is always lively.

If we’re going to a concert, what is the best venue in town?

I love going to Webster Hall, but Madison Square Garden is always a fun time as well.

Now that the night is wrapping up, we’re feeling a little peckish — where should we go for a late night bite? Are we having dessert?

Nothing beats the late night pizza, I always crave it after a night out. For a late night dessert, I love Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices.
