Make sure you do not have slow internet because that is what kills the essence of most amazing shows. In case you are looking for suggestions, Spectrum is a really great choice. You would not even have to worry about exceeding data limits with this network as it comes with zero data caps.

Anyway, below are some of the movies to watch if you love Harry Potter:

Upside-Down Magic

Upside-Down Magic is an entertaining Disney Channel Original Movie for children that focuses on the importance of good company through fantasy. The film tells the story of two best friends who discover their magical powers, Nory and Reina. A wizardry school akin to Hogwarts, Sage Academy, is their destination. Depending on their skills, they are divided into classes and follow their own paths.

Shadow Magic is the name given to a type of dark sorcery that is the main antagonist in the film. Horcruxes in the Harry Potter universe have the same effect. We will have to wait and see how the story develops if this will be a sequel and if a You-Know-Who awaits us at the end of the movie.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Sorcery and mythology combine in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to create some magic. Merlin, the legendary sorcerer, is played by James A. Stephens, who is based on Arthurian legend. At the beginning of the story, Merlin’s brightest student Morgana Le Fay goes rogue and kills all the wizards and witches opposed to her.

Balthazar and Veronica aid Merlin in defeating Morgana. Balthazar is tasked with finding the descendant who will inherit the powers of The Prime Merlinean, fearing Morgana’s return. Hundreds of years after Merlin’s birth, Balthazar discovers his descendant Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), an event that forever changes Dave’s life.

In spite of all odds, Harry and Dave embrace their responsibilities with courage and firmness in the face of their fears, overcoming their fears in the process. Fans of Harry Potter will definitely enjoy watching The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

The Percy Jackson Movies

Over the years, the movie adaptations of Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series have garnered quite a following. In total, two films in the series have been released: Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013).

In this story, Logan Lerman plays Percy Jackson, a teenager who does not realize he is a demigod. The first movie reveals that he is the son of Poseidon, and over the course of the sequel he encounters several mythical creatures from Greek legends.

His quests are assisted by Grover (Brandon T. Jackson) and Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario), two of the demigod children. As in Hogwarts’ hidden world, the trio learns about their powers as well as the powers of other demigods on a secret island.

Chris Columbus created the first film, which was directed by the same director who created the first two Harry Potter films, providing a magical experience similar to everyone’s favorite sorcery-based film series.

Magorium’s Wonder Emporium

Imagine a shop across the street that sold all the magic items you wanted. There is an underlying concept in Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium that you can be anything you want. Various antique-looking toys from the wizarding world are displayed in the movie’s sentient supernatural toyshop.

It seems all is well until Mr. Magorium (Dustin Hoffman) leaves his toyshop after 243 years. As his successor, Molly Mahoney (Natalie Portman) becomes his protégé. Molly learns how to believe in herself and accept her role as the shop’s owner through various hilarious mishaps throughout her journey.
