Lindsay Hearts, a Los Angeles-based designer and founder of FOXBLOOD and My Violet, recently marked a career milestone by attending Paris Fashion Week for the first time. The experience reflects her ongoing evolution from working as a stylist for rock icons in Hollywood to establishing herself as an independent designer with a growing international presence. At Paris Fashion Week, she gained firsthand insight into the global fashion landscape, further informing her perspective as she continues to develop her two distinct brands.
Before launching her own brands, Hearts established her career in styling, working with rock icons including Slash, Megadeth, and Steel Panther. This foundation placed her in a bold position, allowing her to challenge conventional fashion narratives. For her, clothing is not just art but a tool for building confidence and a direct extension of the wearer’s identity and artistic expression. The leap from stylist to brand owner occurred naturally in 2017 with the launch of FOXBLOOD. Hearts began by designing pieces for herself because she could not find garments in the market that reflected her personal style without being too ephemeral or trendy. FOXBLOOD quickly established itself through its dark, minimalist aesthetic, but above all for its commitment to ethical design and cruelty-free fashion.

Subsequently, she expanded her creative reach with the creation of My Violet, a brand that explores the opposite side of her aesthetic. While FOXBLOOD focuses on modern and structured noir, My Violet uses a pastel color palette and romantic silhouettes inspired by the kawaii style.
Her first time at Paris Fashion Week left a clear mark. Watching people debate collections over coffee, and treating runway conversations as part of daily life, Lindsay Hearts discovered a version of fashion that felt genuinely global, something far beyond what she had experienced working in LA. That perspective reinforced her belief in fashion as a living, everyday language rather than an isolated creative pursuit. It also clarified something she had always sensed about her own work. She has never been interested in building a single label toward a fixed identity, choosing instead to develop multiple distinct brands simultaneously, with the flexibility to keep evolving without creative limits.
Currently, Lindsay Hearts is focused on the international growth of her brands and the launch of new collections. Her trajectory demonstrates that it is possible to move from domestic success in the United States to an international presence, always maintaining the values of quality and intentionality that defined her work from the beginning.
