From Marvel to DC, they are everywhere! And now, Hollywood has begun churning out superhero movies at a breakneck pace. If you haven’t seen any of them, you should check them out.

 

Captain America

 The First Avenger (2011): Directed by the brilliant Joe Johnston, this film stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America and is based on his first appearance in “The Avengers #25″ from May 1964. It was a great introduction to the world of comics for young readers like me and I consider it one of my favorite films of all time.

 

Iron Man 2 (2010)

Another hit that opened up a whole new generation to comic and real money pokies online books. Robert Downey Jr. plays Tony Stark, an inventor who builds himself a suit of armor that gives him powers. He becomes Iron Man and teams up with Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, and Black Widow to fight against the evil Mandarin, Aldrich Killian. Thor (2011)

When Jane Foster discovers her father’s old hammer Mjolnir, she accidentally summons a powerful entity known as Thor. She then goes on to use the hammer and eventually ends up in Asgard where she meets many characters from Norse mythology including Loki. It Starring Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Christopher Eccleston as Dr. Erik Selvig.

 

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Ang Lee directs Edward Norton through Bruce Banner/Hulk’s story. After being exposed to gamma radiation Bruce grows large green skin while still retaining his intellect and decides to fight crime wearing only tights and boots. X-Men: First Class (2011)

Conclusion

The superhero genre has flourished over the years, thanks to some excellent film directors who’ve helped bring these characters into the mainstream. Today, films like Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War, Spiderman, Deadpool 2, Batman v Superman, etc., are all big hits at the box office.
