The biopic is a joint production of the Amazon Studios, Mandalay Pictures, and Skydance Sports. The original script was written by Alex Convery, while Affleck and Damon wrote the screenplay for it.

The duo is also included in the production, with Affleck in the director’s chair as well. Other producers are Jason Michael Berman, Peter Gruber, Madison Ainley, Jeff Robinov, and David Ellison.
