The latest in new music from The Howlers, Gordi, Ashaine White, MARINA & more in this week’s 1883 On Rotation playlist.

The Howlers return with bold new single “Night Crawling”. The track exudes a dark, brooding allure, capturing the thrill of chasing something you know is bad for you. With upcoming UK and European shows, the band continues to cement their status as one of the most exciting acts in the UK.

Oslo Twins unveil “I Wake Up Slowly,” a pulsating track from their forthcoming EP Tresor. With minimalist synth-pop arrangements and poetic lyricism, the song explores the transition from stagnation to movement.

Gordi shares “Peripheral Lover,” a heartfelt exploration of early queer relationships. The song embraces a pop-infused sound, layered with guitars and synths, reflecting the complexities of love and identity. Set for release in May, her new album Like Plasticine chronicles transformative moments in her life.

Ashaine White kicks off 2025 with “Let Me Down,” a haunting track from her upcoming EP Look What You Made Me Do. The song blends grunge and soul influences, culminating in a raw, chaotic crescendo. White’s distinct sound continues to establish her as one of the UK’s most promising talents.

Sunday (1994) returns with “Doomsday,” a shoegaze-infused track teeming with nostalgia and melancholy. With soaring vocals and cinematic melodies, the song wouldn’t be out of place on a 90s romance movie soundtrack.

Finn Foxell has dropped the track “SNATCH,” accompanied by a Guy Ritchie-inspired video where he plays the main antagonist. The track merges classic rap aesthetics with an experimental edge. His debut album MAMAS BOY is set to release on April 25.

MARINA makes a triumphant return with “BUTTERFLY,” marking her first release since 2022. With co-signs from Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, she continues to influence modern pop. She will be making festival appearances this year, including a spot at Coachella.

Finally, KOJ continues his rise with “Villain With a Conscience,” the title track from his upcoming debut EP, out April 4 via Interval Records. The Liverpool rapper blends introspective lyricism with bold production, exploring themes of power, self-discovery, and ambition.
