JimmyPaul teamed up with Pokémon for London Fashion Week AW26, delivering the ROAM collection packed with bold colour, exaggerated silhouettes and playful high fashion energy.

JimmyPaul has never played it safe. Pairing up with Pokémon at London Fashion Week AW26 only pushed that energy further.

The ROAM collection was loud, glossy and totally self aware. Pikachu popped up in electric yellow faux fur, oversized graphics and playful accessories, while metallic lilac, acid brights and slick vinyl brought a futuristic edge. It felt nostalgic, but not stuck in the past.

Some silhouettes were huge and sculptural, curving around the body like walking cartoons. Others leaned sporty and sharp. Puffy dresses, jewel studded fuzzy co ords, angular hair spikes and tinted visors gave everything a slightly animated feel.

What stopped it tipping into gimmick was the construction. The proportions were controlled. The tailoring was deliberate. Underneath the chaos, there was real design discipline.

And when Pikachu closed the show alongside the designer, it felt joyful rather than novelty. In a week that can take itself very seriously, JimmyPaul proved that fun still has a place on the runway.
