1.   Halle Bailey

We had to begin our list with one of our most recent favorites, and it could not be anyone other than the beautiful Halle Bailey, who stepped out in the epitome of womens designer dresses and looked an absolute vision in a ‘liquid’ looking dress, by Valdrin Sahiti. It could not have been more fitting for The Little Mermaid movie premiere, and the exquisite blue gown looked like splashing water whenever it hit the light, with a seashell neckline which was the cherry on top. There was no better outfit for the premiere, and we simply could not take our eyes off the shimmering beauty.

2.   Blake Lively

A glorious outfit, albeit from last year, but one that people are still talking about today has to be the iconic Blake Lively Met Gala look. The Met Gala is already an event where many stars shine with bold outfits, but no one topped their entrance as Blake Lively did. Her gorgeous Versace dress began as a rose gold color, with the design of the dress itself inspired by the City of New York City. As if that wasn’t beautiful enough, the bow on the skirt of her dress was then unraveled, only to reveal a stunning blue trail that the decor at Grand Central. The look was tied together with the iconic seven-tier crown inspired by the Statue of Liberty.

3.   Taylor Swift

As if her Eras tour wasn’t sending fans into a frenzy as it was with keen listeners taking over bridges and parking lots, Taylor Swift’s voice was not the only thing we were in awe of. Every outfit on her Eras tour has been a sight to behold, so narrowing down our favorite was extremely tough. Still, we finally settled on a Zuhair Murad piece that she wore on her second night of performing in Arizona. Featuring a blush pink colored ball gown, we really can’t think of anything more fitting to sing Love Story in, and the matching sequins designed to look as though they were bursting from the waist of the dress tied the whole look together. With the dress being the show’s star, it did not need any statement jewelry, so minimal was the move for this one.

4.   Anne Hathaway

Turning to this year’s Met Gala, there were plenty of head-turning outfits, but if one person channeled the 90s effortlessly, it had to be the gorgeous Anne Hathaway. With ‘90s supermodel’ being the theme for her look, we can confirm that she pulled it off flawlessly, and if anyone could pull off a tweed dress, it would be her. Featuring a custom look thanks to Versace, the inspiration behind the dress was Karl Lagerfeld, the theme of the entire event for the year, paired with an homage to Chanel, hence the white tweed held together with gold safety pins.

5.   Beyonce

With fans waiting impatiently for the Queen to go on tour again, Beyonce delivered –  in both performances and outfits. With nine costume changes during her performances, there are plenty of iconic looks that Queen Bey comes out with, but we had to pick the one she kicked off her Renaissance World Tour with – the Alexander McQueen bodysuit. A black metallic bodysuit has never looked more stunning, and with crystal embroidery all over it, it set the tone for the tour, which has been described as a ‘disco cowgirl’s dream’. Beyonce knew how to set the scene and trends, so the rest of her tour outfits are no different. Each is unique, from design to color, but they all look like they are part of the same collection.

6.   Rihanna

Another beauty from the Met Gala this year had to be Rihanna, who made another iconic entrance. Dressed in an all-white Valentino gown, the look was elevated with a hood and a flower-covered body piece which stole the show and just goes to show that she continues to push the status quo of maternity dressing and what can be achieved. Much like during her first pregnancy, she stated her goal was to be ‘rebellious’ and push maternity-style boundaries. Well, it is clear from her Met Gala look that she’s continued along the same trend, and this has to be one of her most high-profile maternity looks yet.
