The shoot was rooted in the idea of intuition, of being in the moment before thinking too much about who you are, and what you want. The natural inspiration that makes you automatically and unimpeachably yourself, unique: this is the ‘morning lightning’ of the title. It flashes and it arrives ‘early’, before thought. But if we can ground ourselves in this feeling, it can be transformative.
