The 1883 Bleach Playlist

New music from THE DRIVER ERA, Courtney Barnett, goth gf, and more on this week’s 1883 Playlist.

Iconic rock group and previous 1883 cover stars (way back in 2012) The Vaccines have shared the pop new tune “Back In Love City” which is taken from their forthcoming new album of the same name. Alt-rock duo The Driver Era return with “Heaven Angel,” their first single from their upcoming album. Spoiling music fans with not one track but two, electronic duo HONNE have shared the sublime tunes “IDGAF About Pain” & “NOW I’M ALONE”, you can read our recent interview with them here. Emerging non-fiction pop artist dani bby wears her heart on her sleeve with new track “Swipe Right”, it’s a fun tune which is a collaboration with Willow Smith. London-based multidisciplinary artist, MEYY, has shared the divine sounding “Orchids” and on the other side of the world, LA’s indie-pop newcomers goth gf have released “Bleach”. Olive Featherstone returns with her follow-up single “I’ll Be Sweet,” CICERO shakes things up with her distinct genre-bending EP “Ultraviolet,” and Ellysse Mason proves herself as a force of nature in the alt-pop scene with “Where Were You.” 

The world conquering superstar Billie Eilish has revealed the fifth single to be taken from her anticipated new album Happier Than Ever and its called “NDA”. Where closer to home, the Geordie rocker Sam Fender has announced his return with “Seventeen Going Under”. Alongside this, the imitable and renowned rapper Little Simz has dropped the orchestra-introduced “I Love You, I Hate You”, don’t sleep on her new album Sometimes I might Be Introvert when it’s out early September. Norwegian songstress AURORA has brought a new element to her music thanks to “Cure For Me” as it features soaring vocals, dark-pop aspects and an upbeat danceable beat. Finally, the talented Aquilo bring the good vibes with the shimmering “Out In LA”, expect more news from them soon.
