New tracks from The Driver Era, a new project from the indie-pop duo Oh Wonder, a brand new album from country star Sam Hunt, and so much more in this week’s 1883 Playlist.
Luckily there is never a shortage of new music coming out each week to keep us happy & entertained, especially during these weird isolating times. This week we see new music from our favourite brothers Ross and Rocky, better known as The Driver Era, who released two new tracks this week — ‘OMG Plz Don’t Come Around’ and ‘flashdrive’. Since their world tour is getting rescheduled, London duo Oh Wonder decided to start a new project: Home Tapes, where the pair will write, record, and mix songs at home and release them in quick succession. The first is ‘Lonely Star’ which is a certified bop. Country singer/songwriter Sam Hunt released his long-awaited record Southside today and we love his track ‘Hard To Forget’. For collaborations, The 1975 paired up with Phoebe Bridgers for their latest track ‘Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America’ and Baltimore pop-rock band All Time Low teamed up with Nashville’s The Band CAMINO for the track ‘Favorite Place’ for ATL’s new album.
Some other tracks we’ve been loving: Nashville’s Taylor Noelle‘s ‘Prove’, lovelytheband‘s track ‘waste’, Betcha‘s ‘If That’s Alright’, 1883 alum Madison Beer‘s ‘Stained Glass’, and rapper Avelino‘s ‘Prey’.
Check out these tracks & more in this week’s 1883 playlist.
