Dua Lipa’s sophomore album, a Kygo collaboration with a Swedish pop star and a rapper, a new break-up anthem by Jeremy Zucker, and so much more in this week’s 1883 Playlist.
The highly anticipated second album Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa, following-up from her smash debut, is out today and it truly is the pop album we need in 2020. Standout tracks include ‘Cool’, ‘Break My Heart’ and ‘Boys Will Be Boys’. Another band releasing an album today is Aussie pop-punk quartet 5 Seconds of Summer, who are back with their fourth LP called Calm. The band continues to reinvent their sound and themselves and produce pop-punk anthems.
Out today is Cub Sport’s second single ‘Drive’ from their upcoming album LIKE NIRVANA, Alice Gray’s dreamy new track about her home of ‘Del Mar’, and kennedi‘s latest — an honest & vulnerable track called ‘apology’ that explores mental health struggles, queer identity, and rollercoaster relationships. Other tracks we are loving at 1883 is Little Hurt‘s ‘Better Drugs’, Didirri‘s ‘Don’t fight with what you’re fighting for’ and The Irrepressibles‘ ‘Let Go’.
